Can't See Available Wireless Networks

Last Updated: Mar 24, 2017 04:44PM PDT
Your computer acts as the "eyes" of the MOD-t for being able to see available WiFi networks. If your computer is connected to the internet via an ethernet cable (hard wired) and does not have wireless capabilities the select network box in the MOD-t desktop application will appear blank. You can still use the MOD-t's WiFi chip to connect to an available network. Please use the following steps:
  1. Make sure your MOD-t is powered on and connected to your computer with the USB cable
  2. Select the Join Network box by clicking on it
  3. Manually type in the SSID  (WiFi Network Name)
  4. Type in the correct password
This should connect you to your network. If you are still having connectivity issues see this article http://support.newmatter.com/customer/portal/articles/2098695-can-t-connect-to-wifi
