How Do I Pause and Cancel a Print Job?

Pausing Print Jobs

There are two ways to pause a print job. You'll find the first way in your print queue in the New Matter Store. (Pictured above.) Just pres the pause button and after the MOD-t completes its last set of stored moves, the carriage will raise and your print status will indicate a paused state.

The second way is very very complicated. Press the front panel button on the MOD-t itself. Just like pausing in the New Matter Store, the MOD-t will complete its last set of stored moves, then the carriage will raise up and put you into a paused state.

Resuming Print Jobs

Inside the print queue, the former pause button will now resemble a play button. Pressing the play button will resume the print exactly where it last left off.

The second way is very, very complicated. Press the front panel button on the MOD-t one time, the MOD-t will "think" for a few moments and then return to its last location to continue printing your object.

Cancelling Print Jobs

You can cancel print jobs using the front button on your MOD-t. Press the button once to pause a print. Once the carriage is raised and has come to a complete stop, hold the button for about 10 seconds. The front LED will stop flashing, indicating that your print was successfully cancelled. Your MOD-t will then return to “Ready to Print.”

The second way is very, very complicated. You can also cancel the print job from your queue in the New Matter Store, after pausing the print you can press the stop button on the web interface and you should be all set to start a new job.
