smaller prints failing

Kent Dyer Oct 04, 2017 02:07PM PDT

I am printing out NPC's and monsters fro my D&D campaign. The issue is with the smaller humanoid figures. Many come with bases pre-attached in the .stl file so print standing up right. when i try to print these the regularly self destruct either in ankles, hips or arms. are there any custom settings that will limit the amount of destruction? or will it be best to just cut the files apart so that i can lay them down?

Hi Kent, looking at your history it doesn’t look like you have the MOD skis lockbars which might help in this situation. Please go ahead and e-mail us directly at hello@newmatter.com so we can get you hooked up with them. Other than that you probably want to make sure supports are toggled on as well when starting the print. If after receiving the lockbars you’re running into the same issue we’d like to see a couple of the individual files so you’d also want to attach them in an e-mail to hello@newmatter.com.
